Bike Tour Around Mount Sh
There is a lot of water up here!  The Sacramento River headwaters are in Mount Shasta.  Within a 2 hour drive you can access the Sacramento, Scott, Klamath, McCloud and Cal Salmon rivers.

Trout fishing is very popular with many lucky anglers on the McCloud and Sacramento.  Salmon fishing on the Klamath is excellent along with steelhead on the Scott.  Link to some fishing info.
Local rafting companies include River Dancers and others you can find on-line.  Inflatable and hardshell kayaking are very popular with the Sims to Vollmers run on the Sac for Class III and the Tree of Heaven Klamath run for Class 2+ a couple of the more popular sections.
IK's on Tree of Heaven run.

Siskiyou Lake is close by and provides recreational opportunities.  You can canoe, fish, hang at the beach resort, rent a paddle boat, or walk the trail that goes almost all the way around.
